Invaders

Recently I underwent open heart surgery because of a rare condtion I have called “Takayasu’s Arteritis” which causes inflammation in the main arteries leading off of the aortic arch. The arteries leading to my arms had become completely blocked, forcing the blood to go through my carotid arteries (which were also narrowed) into my brain before getting to my arms. This put me at a high risk for a stroke as well as losing strength in both of my arms. This is the first drawing I did 2 weeks after the surgery. My arms are still a little shaky, but it is slowly coming back. I’ve always been a fan of the Invaders from Marvel Comics and this happened to be the first thing that popped into my head while convalescing.

It makes me feel so proud !!! You made this one just 2 weeks post such a major surgery !!! Daryll you are a great artist i must admit ………..I hardly can hold a pen properly ,I cant think of sketching somethng like this
